What we do

Power Apps and Power Automate, done properly

If you already pay for Microsoft 365, the Power Platform is usually the fastest payback available to you. It is also the easiest way to end up with four hundred unsupported apps, so we build with governance and lifecycle management from the first one.

What you get

Low-code with the engineering still in it

The Power Platform is quick. That is exactly why it needs the discipline of a proper development practice around it.

A working app in weeks

Power Apps for the process currently living in a spreadsheet, a shared mailbox or an Access database somebody built in 2014.

Automated approvals and returns

Power Automate for the chasing: approvals, data collection from teams or schools, notifications, and the re-keying between systems that nobody admits to.

A governed tenant

Environments separated properly, DLP policies that stop connectors leaking data, and a clear line between what citizen developers may build and what needs us.

Application lifecycle management

Solutions, source control and a deployment pipeline from dev to test to production. Not someone editing the live app on a Friday afternoon.

Licence modelling before you commit

We work out what runs on what you already own and what needs premium, so the cost lands in the business case rather than in a surprise invoice.

Handover to your own people

Your team gets the training and the documentation to extend what we build. The point is to make you less dependent on suppliers, not more.

Platform work in the public sector and beyond

Governed delivery in an education setting, and an automation programme in the third sector.

Public sector

Fuze in partnership with Learn Sheffield

A governed education data platform grown from 40 to over 150 schools, ingesting more than five million attendance rows every month.

Graham Windham

Forty-seven automated processes that removed a single point of failure, taking critical back-office work off one person’s desk.

The stack

What we build it on, and why

The Microsoft stack, used as an engineering platform rather than a drag-and-drop toy.

We also clean up after unmanaged sprawl: inventory every app and flow, work out which are business critical, retire what is dead, and bring the rest into managed environments with an owner and a support route. That is often the first engagement rather than a new build.

Two ways to start

Buy it through a framework, or start with a health check

Same team and same standards either way. The route depends on who signs.

Public sector — through G-Cloud

  1. Tell us the outcome and the constraints; we send service definitions and pricing.
  2. Buy through the Digital Marketplace — no full tender needed for most engagements.
  3. Procurement gets one link: DPIA, security questionnaire, certificates, referees.
  4. Fixed-price discovery, then delivery against a scope you can hold us to.

Business — start with a health check

  1. A short review of your systems, data and reporting, free of charge.
  2. A written summary of what is costing you money and what we would fix first.
  3. Fixed-price discovery if the numbers justify it — and we will say if they do not.
  4. A first working app four to six weeks after discovery ends.
Questions

What people ask about the Power Platform

Sometimes. Anything using Dataverse or premium connectors does, and we model that cost during discovery so it is in your business case from the start. Plenty of useful automation runs on the licences included with Microsoft 365.

For the right problems, yes — process, forms, approvals and workflow. For high-volume transactional systems or complex logic we will recommend bespoke development instead. The failure mode is using low-code for something it was never meant to carry.

Yes, and it is a common first engagement. We inventory every app and flow, identify what is business critical and who owns it, retire the dead ones, and move the rest into managed environments with source control and a support route.

Dataverse where you need proper relational data, security roles and auditing; SharePoint lists where the data is simple and the volume is low. Choosing SharePoint to dodge a licence cost usually costs more within two years.

Either us, to an agreed SLA, or your own team once we have trained and documented. Many clients take the second route, which is the outcome we design for.

Let’s find your fastest payback.

A short, senior-led conversation — or a free systems and data health check. No hard sell.
